About this test

Every friend group that lasts eventually divides up the roles without ever discussing them. Someone proposes the dates, someone arrives late, someone calms the tension, someone makes people laugh, someone listens. These roles aren't personality traits: they're positions in a system, and the same person can be the organiser in one group and the ghost in another.

This test looks for your position in your current group, not your deep personality. That's why some questions ask what the group says about you rather than what you think of yourself — in a collective, the role you're assigned matters as much as the one you believe you hold.

Seven roles are possible. None is the right one and all of them cost something: the organiser burns out, the confidant gets overlooked, the life of the party isn't allowed to have a bad week. The result says so plainly.

How it works

Sixteen questions; each answer feeds one or more roles with a variable weight. The heaviest role is the one shown at the end. Answer quickly — the first instinct is usually the accurate one.
